This policy explains what RIVR collects and how it’s used.

What we collect

Account details — name, email, and profile information you provide.
Content — posts, events, listings, group activity, and messages you create.
Payment records — payments are processed by Stripe; RIVR stores transaction records (what was purchased, amounts, and status) but never your card number.
Technical basics — logs needed to run and secure the service.

How it’s used

To run RIVR: showing your content to the audiences you choose, processing payments you initiate, keeping communities safe, and fixing problems. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party advertising.

Federation

Content you share publicly or to federated audiences is delivered to other RIVR instances (for example a community’s own sovereign server) so it can be shown there. Private content stays on your home instance.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your content, control the visibility of what you share, export your data, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your personal data from your home instance and requests removal from federated copies.
